Orissa Tribal Tour

DAY 01: ARRIVAL – BHUBNESHWAR

Upon arrival at Bhubneshwar airport / railway station you will meet representative is waiting to give a warm welcome and later proceed to your hotel, previously booked.

Upon arrival check-into the hotel.

DAY 02: BHUBNESHWAR

After breakfast, it’s time to sightseeing of Bhuvneshwar which includes temples like Lingaraj, Rajarani, Muktaswar & Traditional market Ekamra haat.

Later we visit State Govt. Museum (Monday Closed), Nandankana zoological Park (Monday Closed), Khandagiri & Udaygiri jain monument.

DAY 03: BHUBNESHWAR – LALITGIRI – RATNAGIRI – UDAYGIRI – BHUBNESHWAR

After Breakfast drive to Lalitgiri. This ancient village is a holy destination for a large number of Buddhist devotees.

Visit the Chaitya hills an important tourist attraction as several stupas can be found on the side of hills. Later visit the monument of Buddhist architecture found on the top of the hill called Pushpagiri.

After the visit, drive to Udaygiri and Ratnagiri sites which are also enriched with typical engraved Buddhist monuments and ancient sculptures.

In the evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 04: BHUBNESHWAR – KONARK – PURI

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel & drive to Puri. Enroute stop at Konark to visit the very famous Konark Sun Temple also known as (Black Pagoda) world heritage site.

Later continue drive to Puri. Upon arrival check-into the hotel.

Rest of the evening is at leisure to roam around the Puri Beach & enjoy Sunset at Beach.

Overnight stay at Puri.

DAY 05: PURI

After breakfast visit to Darshan of Lord Jagannath Temple. Then visit Loknath temple, Gundicha temple and Sunargaurang temple.

In the evening enjoy the beach. Overnight stay.

 DAY 06: PURI – CHILIKA – GOPALPUR

After an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Gopalpur. Gopalpur is a beautiful and quiet beach destination situated in the Bay of Bengal in the State of Orissa.

Enroute, visit the Chilika Lake, the largest brackish water lake in Asia. After the visit continue drive to Goplapur.

The major tourist attractions of Gopalpur include Taratarini, Jaugada, Ansupa Lake, Hirakud Reservoir Taptapani, Mahuri Kalua, Patisonapur Beach, Chandragiri.

Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 07: GOPALPUR – RAYAGADA

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Rayagada.

Rayagada is a tribal village famous for tribal craftsmanship and lushgreen forests, beautiful meadows, stunning waterfalls, rich tribal life and culture.

Upon arrival at Rayagada, check-into the hotel.

DAY 08: RAYAGADA – BISAMKATAK – RAYAGADA

After breakfast, drive to Bisamkatak. The village is famous for its tribal craftsmanship.

Later in the visit the weekly market of Bissamkatak which attracts thousands of tourists for purchasing of Donoria Kondha ornamental and other handicraft products.

DAY 09: RAYAGADA – CHATIKANA – JEYPORE

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel & drive to Jeypore. Enroute, visit Chatikana’s weekly market where tribal of this area mix with other communities and batter for various commodities.

Later drive to Jeypore, trade hub of the Koraput district.

Upon arrival at Jeypore, check-into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 10: JEYPORE – ONKUDELLI – JEYPORE 

After breakfast, start for an excursion to Onkudelli. It is the famous for Bonda tribes,

Visit the colorful markets of Bonda, Gadaba and Didayee. These tribes come once in a week to buy things from the market.

Post lunch, visit traditional Boro-Gadaba villages and enjoy the company of the colorful and friendly tribal of Orissa.

Later drive back to Jeypore. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 11: JEYPORE – ONKUDELLI – JEYPORE 

After breakfast, get ready for your next destination that is Gupteswar, a famous cave shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva.  Gupteswar is located at the top of the hill. Here we visit Dharua Gond tribal villages of Orissa,

Later in the day, stop at a pottery village while driving back towards Jeypore.

Drive back to Jeypore & overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 12: JEYPORE – VISHAKHAPATNAM

After breakfast, drive to Visakhapatnam. Visakhapatnam is a paradise for natural and environmental lovers.

Upon arrival at Visakhapatnam, check-into the hotel.

After resting for a while, get yourself ready for a sightseeing tour of Visakhapatnam covering Borra Caves, War memorial, Dolphin's Nose, Gangavaram beach and Kailasa Giri.

In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 13: VISHAKHAPATNAM – DEPARTURE

Morning start leisurely. Later in the day, transfer to Visakhapatnam airport, to board a flight for your onward journey.
