Day 0: Delhi to Shimla 

The journey begins with an overnight departure from Delhi to Shimla in a comfortable AC Deluxe Volvo bus. Enjoy a relaxed overnight ride as you travel toward the Himalayas.

Day 1: Shimla – Narkanda – Sangla / Chitkul

Distance: 220 km | Duration: 9–10 hours

After arrival in Shimla, pickup from the boarding point and drive toward Sangla Valley via Narkanda. Enjoy scenic mountain views as you leave the city behind.

  • Drive through snow-prone Narkanda region
  • Breakfast with Himalayan mountain views
  • Travel on the historic Hindustan–Tibet Road
  • Stop at Tranda Dhank cliff near Tranda Devi Temple

Enter the beautiful Baspa Valley and reach Sangla or Chitkul by evening.

Stay: Sangla / Chitkul


Day 2: Sangla / Chitkul – Kalpa

Distance: 80 km | Duration: 4–5 hours

After breakfast, visit Chitkul Village (3,450 m), the last inhabited village near the Indo–Tibetan border.

  • Walk through snow-covered Chitkul village
  • Visit Mathi Temple
  • Stop at Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba

Continue toward Kalpa and enjoy stunning views of the Kinner Kailash Peak.

  • Visit Roghi Village
  • Stop at Suicide Point viewpoint

Day 3: Kalpa – Khab – Nako – Gue – Tabo

Distance: 165 km | Duration: 7–8 hours

Begin the day with sunrise views of Kinner Kailash and drive deeper into the cold desert region of Spiti.

  • Witness the end of tree line as terrain changes
  • Stop at Khab – confluence of Spiti & Sutlej rivers
  • Visit Nako Village and Nako Lake
  • En-route visit to Gue Monastery (500-year-old mummy)

Stay: Tabo


Day 4: Tabo – Dhankar – Kaza

Distance: 60 km | Duration: 3–4 hours

Visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, known as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas”.

  • Explore Dhankar Monastery & Dhankar Village
  • View the Spiti–Pin River confluence

Drive to Kaza, the administrative capital of Spiti Valley.

Stay: Kaza

Day 5: Kaza – Hikkim – Komik – Langza – Key – Kibber – Chicham – Kaza

Distance: 95 km | Duration: 5–6 hours

This is the most scenic and exciting sightseeing day of the Spiti Valley winter tour.

  • Hikkim – World’s highest post office
  • Komik – World’s highest motorable village
  • Langza – Buddha statue & fossil village
  • Key Monastery – largest monastery in Spiti
  • Kibber Village – high-altitude settlement
  • Chicham Bridge – Asia’s highest suspension bridge

Stay: Kaza


Day 6: Kaza – Rampur

Distance: 300 km | Duration: 7–8 hours

After early breakfast, begin the return journey toward Rampur Bushahr.

  • Gradual transition from cold desert to forest region

Stay: Rampur


Day 7: Rampur – Shimla | Volvo to Delhi

Distance: 115 km | Duration: 4–5 hours

Drive back to Shimla and drop at the Volvo stand by evening. Board AC Deluxe Volvo bus for overnight journey to Delhi.
