Itinerary
DAY 01: ARRIVAL – BAGDOGRA – GANGTOK (05 HOURS)
Our representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB).
He will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok, the land of monastery, mystic rituals & festivals and is the most visited spot of India.
Upon arrival check-into the hotel.
Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center -
Over Night stay at Gangtok.
DAY 02: GANGTOK
After breakfast drive for the city tour of Gangtok Sightseeing.
Visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, The museum, housed in a traditional Tibetan-style mansion, boasts a jaw-dropping collection of artefacts related to Vajrayana Buddhism and the Tibetan culture.
Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), is one of the most important stupas in Sikkim, nestled in the stunning valleys of Gangtok The Stupa has around 108 prayer wheels.
Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Garden
Ganesh Tok, The temple is so small that it can accommodate only one person at a time and one has to crawl to reach there.
Hanuman Tok, is a very famous temple of Gangtok and is a maintained by the Indian Army.
Tashi View Point is a scenic beauty from where travellers can get a view of the magnificent Mount Sinilochu and Mount Kanchenjunga.
Banjhakri Falls, one of the finest falls close to Gangtok, etc.
Back to hotel – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center .
Over Night stay at Gangtok.
DAY 03: GANGTOK
Morning breakfast at hotel. Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir nearly 40 kilometers and 2 hours drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, the home to the red panda and the blood pheasant with Rhododendron and other alpine trees.
The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep - Generally covered in snow for most of the year.
This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds –
Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all.
Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers. Nathu La Pass was once the part of the ancient Silk Route. To visit this place, one need to collect a permit from Gangtok and only Indian citizens are permitted to see the Indian side of the pass and that too just on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Additional cost will be Rs. 6500
Back to Gangtok. Over Night stay at hotel.
DAY 04: GANGTOK – VIA NAMCHI - PELLING (04 HOURS)
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer Pelling.
you will stop at Namchi where you will go for touring to Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse and Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham). At the Siddheshwar Dham, you can see an imitation of all the 12 Jyotirlingas and four Dhams and 108 feet high statue of Lord Shiva.
Upon arrival check-into the hotel.
DAY 05: PELLING
After breakfast at the hotel. You will be enjoying the sightseeing pf Pelling. Pelling is a mesmerizing hill station located in Sikkim. The place is a heaven for tourist attractions like Monasteries, Valleys, Forest and Waterfalls.
It's also a great destination for adventure loving people.. All the above places to be covered full day.
Pelling tour includes a visit to Rimbi Waterfalls, across the gushing stream of white that is the Rambi Waterfall on your way to Khechopalri and Yuksam
Khecheopalri Lake, also known as Kha-Chot-Palri, is a natural lake near Pelling. It is one of the must-visit attractions in Pelling
Changey Waterfalls, Its foamy white waters falling from a height of 300 metres to the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves are magnificent to experience.
Sangachoeling Monastery, is the oldest Monastry in the Sikkim.
Pemayangtse Monastery, Pemayangtse Monastery is another equally important Buddhist shrine in Pelling.
Rabdentse ruins, this was the second capital of Sikkim from 1670 to 1814 and has therefore played an important part in its history. The Rabdentse Ruins are a reflection of this proud history that was wiped away siege of the Gurkhas.
Overnight stay will be in Pelling.
DAY 06: PELLING – KALIMPONG (04 HOURS)
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer Kalimpong. It is a historical destinations with bustling market, colorful people and offers spectacular views of the Himalayan range.
Upon arrival check-into the hotel
Drive for sightseeing tour through scenic road to Forest Museum (Closed On Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr Graham Homes, Durbin Monastery, Mangaldham, Pine View Nurseries (Cactus Only).
Back to Kalimpong Hotel – Evening free to roam around the any of the hundred nurseries or the Local market area.
Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
DAY 07: KALIMPONG – BAGDOGRA – DEPARTURE (03 HOURS)
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) to board flight / train for your destination.
