DAY 01: ARRIVAL– GUWAHATI – SHILLONG (02 HOURS)

Upon arrival at Guwahati proceed to Shillong.  On the way, a small drop by Barapani Lake, the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya. Also known as the Umiam Lake, it is beautifully surrounded by Sylvan hills.

While you reach Shillong, you will further be check in to the pre-booked hotel for your stay. Rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel

DAY 02: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJI – SHILLONG (02 HOURS)

On this day of your Shillong tour, you will visit Cherrapunji.  So in the morning, after breakfast, begin the excursion towards the Cherrapunji. It has various waterfalls, limestone caves, striking root bridges, and other natural sites.

Visit the Spectacular Seven Sisters Falls, the Mawsmai Cave, and the Thangkharang Park. In the evening, return to Shillong.

A stopover en route at the Elephanta Falls and the famous Shillong Peak.

Later, return to the hotel and stay overnight at the Shillong hotel.

DAY 03: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – SHILLONG (03 HOURS)

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a day excursion to Mawlynnong. This village is named as the cleanest village in Asia. Here, pay a visit to Jingmaham Living Root Bridge. Then, walk around the charming Mawlynnong Village and stop at the beautiful waterfalls.

Next, proceed for a visit to Dawki, 34 km from Mawlynnong Village. The small border town in the Jaintia Hills is known for the picturesque Umngot River, a must-visit site in Meghalaya.

Enjoy the scenic beauty and a boat ride in the crystal-clear waters where you can feel like floating in the air as the water is so clear. Explore the nearby sights too.

After sightseeing, leave for Shillong. On arrival, check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 04: SHILLONG – GUWAHATI (03 HOURS)

Post breakfast, head for a small excursion trip to Shillong. Visit Lady Hydari Park, a Japanese-style park decorated with roses and other flowers in a large stretch.

Later, proceed towards Guwahati. On reaching, check-in at the hotel.

Later, go out for a visit to the Kalakshetra, a spot where they exhibit a light and sound show displaying Assamese culture and history.

You can even opt for an evening cruise on the Brahmaputra.

Finally, return to the hotel and spend the night.

DAY 04: GUWAHATI – DEPARTURE

After Breakfast, you will proceed to the sightseeing tour of the city of the Kamakhya Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peeth and dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya.

Later, check-out from the hotel and transfer to airport for your onward journey.
